Finding Bono 2022 -Stories Of Surrender

A Couple Of Saturday's Ago a dull rainy day in Mancunia 2022......

I wanted to get my book signed by Bono as I heard he has been popping up on his book tour and sometimes turning up at bookshops randomly .

My plan was to get to Deansgate Waterstones and wait in there but on the way there a fan I was chatting with online said don't go to Waterstones they've just kicked loads of fans out and it's been cordened off as he is not going to be signing in the store, so she told me go to Lowry Hotel as he'll be there later he's staying here, she's waiting in reception I thought omg I can't stalk him at the hotel lol but went .

From there we waited a few hours we had to be discreet or we'd be asked to leave, we found out somehow that he was 2 hours behind his jet has not landed yet he won't be coming to the hotel and even better than that we got tipped off where he was doing the book signing.

The lady who I was with is from just up the road of the store, so we all rush into her car and set off for Chorlton Books I'm sceptical he's not going to be there we were stuck in traffic everything crossed we would get there but as we pulled and ran up the street, even with my sore knee I had to lol it was like Treasure Hunt, we got in the door and blurted out has he been is  he on the way, the shop assistant looked at us and said oh no I'm sorry but he's been you've just missed him by 10 minutes. 😩 .

I was thinking yeah right he can't of been to this tiny bookstore when shop assistant said he had a cup of tea we made him some parkin and sure enough on her mobile there was Bono cup of tea in hand and cake on a plate 🙃

What do we do they asked  me where do we go now do we go back to hotel or head to the venue, I insisted forget the hotel head to venue he'll be on his way (He was already in the venue went in by another entrance we didn't know this though) so 4pm we're stood looking at least a hundred fans already there.

I said no were not staying here, no way will we get a chance behind these , we'll go on the other side of the pavement where there's no barrier they'll put one up eventually I think, 7 people were stood watching no barrier up we were getting heckled Oi we've waited ages he won't come out there's no barrier, we stood firm more people behind us meant security put the barrier across I've been doing this too long now I go with gut feeling.

6.30pm no sign of him we're expecting him in a car but he hasn't been the show starts at 8pm, 7.30pm we've just about given up but still standing when suddenly out the gate ear where we were standing he comes out with his marker pen security man and walks around signing books only people who  had books got a signing.

Lps and U2 things he would not sign and some had come from overseas just to meet him after a quick hello I placed book in the air knowing I'm not going to get a selfie forget that one but still he stood right in front me for a chat with Reet..

The Show was fantastic what great actor he'd make I was awestruck I've seen U2 twice on tour but this night was special 😎🍀

Edit ...tried to add photos but sadly Blogger won't let me 😮‍💨

Let The Music Play - Straight Outta Lockdown 2021-The Return Of Live Music

So In February I tweeted that I won't be doing anymore blogs after Madame X in 2020 that was it.. No more.

March came and with it came #Lockdown due  to a damn virus, and no you are not at a Muse Gig this was the reality of the social distancing era, No Socialism, No Gigs, No Events, No Anything #LifeHalted.

But as with all causes we prevail we have perseverance and we reopen doors and so in June /July over a year since our lives were on hold (Some of us anyway not the government of the UK as it emerges 🤐😠).

With the announcement restrictions were lifting slowly local music returned in particular in  'Newcastle' first then 'Warrington' and so on.. beginning the outdoor gigs small capacity phenomenon (Not Indoor Yet) with 'Vintage Viola' providing entertainment with mainly acoustic Young acts for shoppers and residents to enjoy.

In August we were fully open again all restricted rules dropped Indoor And Outdoor allowed once again, more events to add to the diary more weekends to look forward to, Summer was here!!

Over the course of the remaining months I'd Watched Duran Duran Twice once indoor, in all another city Birmingham , I went to see Wendy James perform as a solo artist in a small venue in Manchester I witnessed my longtime booked Lockdown gig of a new artist 'Skynd' ElectroGothMetal with twist in Feb of this year , and closed the year 2021 with The Script, Suede and A Greatest Hits tour for The Charlatans and St Etienne in Liverpool in the sadly now closed Grand Central venue , I'd attended 2 Large capacity festival events 'VictoriousFestival' (Royal Blood) and Neighbourhood Weekender (James, Miles Kane and Bono's Son in 'Inhaler') .

So my taste for reviewing live artists returned but it only returned after November this year and its down to inspiration from fellow storyteller Bono of U2 yes him again more in the coming days in the mean time... Live Music Is Back We Must Embrace It!!

Madonna Madame X Tour London 2nd and 5th February 2020

-Madonna -

Madame X Tour London Palladium

2nd & 5th February 2020

From the beginning of this Tour, Madonna's performance record hit uncertainty after it emerged she had a knee injury in late summer last year whilst kicking off the tour in USA
she cancelled a string of dates last minute and was getting a reputation not even postponements but just cancelled.

In Lisbon things got gradually worse her injuries did too as she was then also rumoured to of pulled a ligament , forcing M' to finally make a statement at 61 some fans obviously believed she was not able to do an extensive tour the main problem was that dates were back to back which forced her to struggle to get better for the next show.

So when the tour finally came around to London Palladium fans here had everything crossed she'd battle through, with opening night axed it seemed this tour was plagued with bad luck and many fans were upset.

A further 2 Cancellations of 2 later shows at least days in advance this time and fans were jittery as the tour rolled on.

Sunday 2nd February my show night looms and all signs are good so far for the show it's lucky because I'm already checked in to my hotel and  me and my friend are excited but nervous these are not certain times being a Madonna fan we are prepared for anything well almost.

As we arrive in the plush theatre we are greeted very politely by door staff making sure that our phones are switched to silent and locked away in a Yondr case , its a strict no photo policy, No distractions, No Smart Watches or Fit Bits either, we are then given our special ticket to go to our seats as we walk in a Dj is spinning the discs with a Disco ball rotating ,a visit to the bar is short with Alcohol at £6.00 a Coke was £3.50 so split that a bought a bag of Munchies at £3.50 2 for the price of an alcoholic drink.

As we go to our seats the view is AMAZING its an intimate low stage which is welcoming I'm overwhelmed, as Madame X's Band is on stage performing a string and brass section of Madonna Hits instrumental of course but atmosphere is on point we're 5 rows away from the Queen !!!

The show begins a little late I was so excited I didn't care, one fan observed oh it's not the full show but I was too excited to care as Madame X's voice welcomed us to the show...

Madame X is A Secret Agent.. Madame X Is A Spy In The House Of Love and explained the in house rules finishing with the words.... None of what you see here is real !!!

The curtain dropped back and screen went up to reveal her dancers dressed as her in Blonde wigs and trench coat creeping up and down flights of stairs count them... 10 steps each side as 'Vogue' begins they move around the stage posing, one of which is the real Madame X who comes down the stairs to the stage and shes there in front of us 'Strike A Pose' trademark eyepatch looking like a glamourous dancehall beauty queen.

You can see by the set why she's struggled she still dosent do things by halves as she is lifted and coerced into various dance sequences in fast paced fashion, if as the papers say she's struggling there is absolutely no sign on her face as she smiles the most happy smiles and the most relaxed I've seen early on in a show as 'I Dont Search I Find' takes her round the stairs and back again .

The crowd ROAR "So London How could I let you down" ? as she explains "Madame X Is injured, but I'm wearing flats and working out 6 hours a day", She walks accross and looks out at the faces in the crowd "So How's Brexit going for you guys? I dont know what it is why cant we we just get along !!"

She requests a chair and picks up a polaroid camera she sits and poses taking a selfie "Lets see how this develops in my oven" flirts with crowd putting photo between her thighs and shaking it , walking towards the crowd she says "Anyways I need someone who wants to buy this Polaroid for cash, Real Cash Baby so who wants to buy it how much have you got London?? the one who got the most gets it !!

A Woman Offers £1,700 dollars and animated she shouts "Lay It on The Floor for me Baby, I'll get my manager to check, he knows where you are sitting if you short change me you'll be punished" (Whip Sounds), she takes whole wad of cash and hands her the photo "Its For Charity Thank you".

She laughs steps back from the chair to be handed an acoustic guitar for 'American Life' to the left of the stage a lot of shirts and clothes thrown down, and Madame X begins the 2003 track last performed on her Reinvention Tour in 2004, she performs the whole rap and the crowd join in, she does her trademark one finger salute as she sits down as she dissapears into a door under the stairs, and the moveable stair partition opens as the screen goes down on Act 1 (Well Act 2 really).

A Coffin is walked onto the stage with maps on the screens behind two sailor girls fighting and later embracing in peace a poignient powerful peice of theatre, next a cacophony of sound and its getting closer its the 'Batuka' ladies dancing down the aisles right past us, wearing unique colourful traditional dress, instruments in hand, lining up on stage 'Madonna's backing singers joining in as 'Batuka' plays 'Madame X' starts singing in perfect harmony now , shes wearing a Blue sparkly outfit and trademark fishnets her trim figure and shes now wearing a cropped brown wig .

During this section we are told about a lady she met in Lisbon called 'Isobel De Oliviera' she tells the tale of moving over to a place where she didnt know anyone and meeting this lady who sadly passed away she sings her song 'Fado Pechincha', and then invites us into her 'Fado Club'  the set is like a bar in Portugal, with male and female dancers walking up and down the stage set, and another musician sat by the piano as 'Madame X' sings 'The Killers Are Partying' and then my fav song 'Crazy' I love this song it's a sweet energetic number where she dance's with boyfriend 'Ahlamalik' and bursts into a chorus of 'La Isla Bonita' her dancers dancing down the aisles.

She ends up on the piano and she says as she reclines on it "Ok  so I have to get off this piano now, you have to help me, theres only one way to do it .. 1, 2, Cha Cha Cha, C'mon" Audience Roars again 1, 2 , Cha Cha Cha  as the piano tips and she lands upright for the beginning of 'Medellin', the dancers step down on the left of the stage and dance down the aisle with 'Madame X' following its a surreal moment my heart jumps she gets back onto the stage with her dancers and then moves over to our steps down to the right in front of me dancing past my aisle twirling past us .

I mean the show is the best shes ever done, then she passes us again smiling as she goes this has never happened before the height of the catwalk keeps eye contact to a minimum but this was just off the scale for me it was enthralling.

She Cha Cha's back up on to stage to climb the steps where a video image of 'Maluma' appears in the window of the outside the Fado Club, she stands looking radiant and carefree, we are all left gasping, then 'Madame X' says she is going to come and have drink of warm salty beer "Wheres my Beer Bitch" she says stepping down towards me again and actually not far from our aisle 2 rows in front in next block, pointing at us and telling us to sit down, so we do as she requests.

I can't believe how close she is, we all sit as an example where she is located it's the equivelant of her getting on my bus accross from me, she has her back turned away from me I'm fascinated how real this all is she takes the bottle of beer from the French Fan (Actor) and gargles it and goes back up the stage to sing 'Extreme Occident'.

Act 3 or is that Act 4 begins with 'Madame X's Voicing the lyrics of 'Rescue Me' , male and female dancers kneeling on the floor expressing a Contempory Dance sequence all are wearing white shirts which are ripped open to express the right of freedom and equality with one man and one woman bare chested another statement about sexual freedom.

As they roll off the stage both sides the screen comes down and onto this huge projected screen is Lola dancing her hair wild and free in B/W and lit up behind this is 'Madonna' sat at a piano whilst she sings 'Frozen' its a special moment in its simplicty and its pureness.

Dancers fill the stage in colourful clothes 'Madame X' wearing head scarf and colourful traditional outfit, she is bare foot as she begins 'Come Alive' another fav of mine this is my fav bit of the first show, the stage lit with vibrant colour, its a sight to behold a glorious celebration that we all are part of tonight as we all sing in Unison the crowd on their feet dancing.

Then it's over to the piano for 'Future'  and curtain down in temporary silence nothing but the crowd chanting More More More !! when the lights go back down again and the screen goes up she is standing on the top of the stairs in a Black Robe with crosses on it and hood up, it can only be 'Like A Prayer' and 'Madonna' fans are in heaven right now!! Choir on the stairs ready ,crowd ready, chorus begins full pelt the whole room singing along.

Curtain down again and then the Pride Flag raised behind up on the screens her dancers join her for 'I Rise' some waving flags, and once and she stuns us she comes down past our aisle singing fist raised, I notice this time how tiny she is I treasured every moment of this show but it was nearly over as she walks out of the theatre and goes before the music stops my god she is still The #Queen .

                                Show 2

After the excitement of Sunday's show I'm hoping that maybe we will get the full show I've a good feeling about this she's rested up for 2 full days, I don't expect it though its 9.05pm the in house staff are awaiting the arrival of an important guest in the middle rows owner 'Andrew Lloyd Webber' is present show ready to begin at last, we are seated over to the left one row in front of last times position 4 rows back from the front.

Lights go down but wait... it's different 'Ahlamalik' walks out behind the curtain as the typewriter from 'God Control' fires words up at the screen he's wearing a suit, his hand gestures in time with the fast typing to the sound of gunshots he mimes in robotic breakdance motion oh my god she is doing the Full show !!

Screens goes up to show 'Madame X' dressed like a bloodied 'Napoleon' with hat atop the stairs looking confident smiling and dancing with the dancers being controlled by riot police with sheilds the message is clear Wake Up America!! guns need regulations, then its over to the piano which is over the left corner for 'Dark Ballet' her dancers in the gasmasks that were used for 'Eurovision' last year, everyone in tune the acoustics were amazing and clear.

But then even more mind blowing is what happens next she walks over to the cut out circle amongst the stairs and places her body with her legs and arms into it to begin the next song what originally had to be cut out due to pressure on her knees .

'Human Nature' starts up and she's doing the handstand upside down like in 'Reinvention Tour' when she performed Vogue, My heart is in my mouth 'Please Be Ok'.. can she do it? because it caused the injuries, she does it flawlessly and shows no sign of pain and looked like she is enjoying performing it tonight for us .

After which she brought onto the stage Her Children, Mercy James, Ester ,Estelle and sang 'Express Yourself' Accapella, I had to pinch myself there she was my icon with her family in front of me inches away. his show was going to be special, as they left the stage with M' and the dancers in trench coats and blonde wigs holding fans standing beside her, they got her a seat and put a make up screen in front .

We Cannot see anything but both legs out either side as they get her ready an orchestral instrumental of 'Papa Dont Preach' is playing, shes cracking jokes with us "What do you call a man with small penis" everyone shouts 'Peirs Morgan' no she says, "Dont you know" ? some one yells 'Donald Trump' "Yes Thats right" we still cant see her as shes changing its a funny part of the show.

When Madonna sits on the steps instead of doing the Beer Bitch sketch she sings the full accapella of 'Dont Cry For Me Argentina' we all join her singing along that was special, the show got better and better, as she chatted with us candidly between songs "This is what I'm talking about there's been barriers between us with your cameras and phones, I can see your faces, its much better" .

Everything was going perfect until after 'Like A Prayer' the curtain came down and lights came on and curtain stopped and she was still behind it with the microphone in hand "No Motherfxxkers No ,1 more song I have 1 more song this is censorship, its censorship!!!! oh she was hopping mad behind those curtains I could hear her stamping her feet in anger, The lights came on crowd went mad ,we all supported her chanting '1 More Song ,1 More Song ' even though the lights went back on Ahlamalik walked through the curtain along with the dancers omg it was like 'Glasgow' part 2 when they shut down 'Holiday' .

'Madame X' begins to sing defiantly 'I Rise' with no power , I decided I need to move quick accross to the right side of the venue for this so I leave my seat knowing it may be my only chance to fist bump the Queen and before she carried on and stepped down off the stage I was shuffling forward inhouse staff did not think she would do the whole song with no power but I knew she would, they hastily got staff to stand along to prevent anyone grabbing her as she past with her dancers.

She came up to where I was waiting on the end of the aisle, I noticed the top of her head and her smiling the determination on her face, I went to fist bump her but security pushed my arm away but the small girl on security on my side left a gap I've never broken the code but it was special moment of defiance ,I reached out and gently touched the top of her wrist so she knew I was there, a way to say I'm with you I'm here, I support her all the way, I did not grab or pull I have respected this woman for 30 years or more.

After she left I was completely in bits and she took my energy out the door with her and and I almost collapsed, it was fxxking spiritual , I have never been fortunate to have an encounter with her like some fans but this time it was my turn.

What had we witnessed tonight, it was epic defiant and a further example of people power a protest gig like that of a Bob Dylan, a moment in time that I can look back on and say I was there, how many people can say they were there for that moment where she defied the curfew and and venue staff and how proud I was of her .

The Day after she thanked fans for staying for not moving out of the venue and letting her finish the song and criticised the venue for nearly dropping the iron fire curtain on her and her dancers when they were actually within the curfew of 11.15pm but shut her off at 11.05pm anyway for a 4 minute song !!! Yes they did I'm a witness , the next night she was so pissed off she mentioned it .

Kylie Minogue The Definitive Summer Shows Tour - Manchester, Lytham & Scarborough Tour Report

Kylie Minogue

The Definitive Summer Shows

Tour Report

Manchester, Lytham and Scarborough

Some fans of the pop princess didn't have an appetite for another 'Greatest Hits' package but earlier in the year when the 'Summer Shows' were announced we just knew it would be special.

Starting in the idyllic London setting of 'Hampton Court', 'Blenheim Palace' before her first festival in Eden in 'Cornwall' all this was before her most talked about performance in 'Glastonbury' watched by millions at home on TV.

There were so many lovely locations to choose from  I couldn't possibly cover them all , so I decided to stick to my roots as a 'Northern' lass !!

Castlefield Bowl , Manchester one friday morning, Kylie's fans are gathering ready for the pop goddess's show .
The weather looking deceiving but now mostly a summer scene lots of reunions, fortunately we have a parasol for shelter should it change, unfortunately it did and was biblical rain during waiting in queue formation, we got caught out short.

People were never the less ready in glitter face make up and so was I Thanks to my personal make up assistant
 "Thank You Nathan" !!

We witnessed the arrival of 'Ms Minogue' and some of her dancers the lucky few got a wave and smile but her security team were not impressed and complained that we were distracting her (it was the hotels beer garden balcony, public space not our fault ).

So already a memorable afternoon ,we wade in through the entrance and lucky ones get to the front in readiness of the show, her DJ's from 'Golden Tour' were the support act I feel their slot was too long with the absence of other support between, the rain slinked away for a time.

Act 1

Stage set ready, amps and the bands instruments ready , four panels await the signal in the middle of the stage, as the crowd pack in and buckle up the party's just beginning!! as we quite literally 'step back in time' together.

The crowd scream and roar with delight  as beams of the mirrored panels light up and turn around during the intro, they reveal each of her dancers in pastel coloured clothing, and over to the left 'Kylie' in white jumpsuit beaming at the crowd.

Beginning with 'Love At First Sight' and owning the stage from the very start 'Kylie' is clearly excited about our journey so far as she reference's it as "Our time together' and affectionately jogging our memories with carefully placed 80's nostalgia.

None more so than when she finally sings in it's entirety 'I Should Be So Lucky' and over 20,000 Mancunian's sing it back to her in strong voice word for word.

Back to '2000' now 'On A Night Like This', her dancers flanking her every move, the crowd getting louder, next a short trip to the 'Aphrodite' era with live favourite 'Get Out Of My Way' and my fav 'What Do I Have To Do' from the 90's then a song she hasn't sung in a very long while 'Never Too Late'.

Act 2

A very unique concept headlined 'Berlin Transition' on the main setlist where one of her dancers is a mime artist/robotic doll, in his black & white tuxedo with white gloves, he dances reluctantly in character during 'Je Ne Sais Pas Pourqoui' and 'Kylie' teaches him how to dance during 'Hand On Your Heart'.

She's wearing this beautiful black and gold laced ,long shimmering gown, after a short flashback to 'Fever' era she sings 'The One' from 'X' complete with a watered down version of the 'Michel Angelo' segment (it's a finger point she can't quite stretch or lean to us ,no catwalk).

My favourite section of the show now, another costume change and a tribute to 'David Bowie' with 'Clockwork' theme her dancers walking accross the stage in slo motion to the tick of clocks as 'Fashion Tour Remix' goes into 'Slow', she appears on a elevated part of the stage in Red zip up jumpsuit, with the mic stand in front, it's the most alluring performance, as 'Kylie' bumps and grinds alongside the mic stand, swishes her hair and oozes sex appeal.

Her dancers are now lay across the stairway as she belts out 'Confide In Me' her vocals totally in tune and on time, this part of the show ends with 'Cant Get You Out Of My Head' where she gets the crowd joining in.

Act 3

We go back to the old skool 'Angry Anderson's 'Suddenly' plays in the scene of a wedding party, 2 of her dancers are playing out getting married and the requested slow dance of 'Especially For You' afterwards they are having an almighty party with the guests.

The dancers sit on the floor to do the 'Row Boat' an 80's dance craze often done at discos in the UK, and the huge car wash style puppets as a different 'Kylie' was very funny watching her sing alongside 'Dance Kylie' , '80's Kylie' she and us were having a ball tonight !!

Act 4

Disco! and time for another costume change as all this is happening overhead the bridge was the focus of the crowds attention, as trains were stopping to watch and waving at us some people on the train were taking a quick picture while stationary, 'Kylie' hadnt seen this yet even during 'The Locomotion'.

It rained again during what she describes as 'Our Song' 'All The Lovers' and then she notices the train "Ah" she says "The train has come in after all lovers" she looks up and laughs then its encore time.

Beginning with the energetic track from 'Golden' and the only track from it this evening 'Dancing' she decides to end the show with 'Spinning Around' from her '2000' comeback , but 'Kylie' doesn't have to do comebacks.... she's never really been away !!

The next day literally and it's all aboard the train to 'Lytham' for the Festival celebrating its 10th aniversary this year, so I had such high expectations of the place, its a beautiful sunny afternoon everyone is calm waiting for gates again, everyone catching up on the events past and plans to come a great friendly atmosphere .

Calm that is ..until security misinformed the front of the queue they were going in first and could not get the scanners to work creating chaos and everyone went ahead, but those who were numbered in our whole queue did not get through, we were stuck in our lane due to the technical balls up.

I shouted over to the supervisor "Can you sort this we cant get in, her scanner is not working you're letting everyone in ahead from the back of the queue!!" the girl seemed to think it was funny she was having no luck and I went mad, two blokes in front looking bored but surprisingly calm not from our queue were telling me to chill and wait my turn no need to be like that.. but they were not moving either,

After what seemed like ages stuck, we got through and I shot out like a greyhound to find a spot but there was none left on the barrier ,I was absolutely fuming I was No 4 in the queue I've never been late, so never not been front row I was so angry I travelled in the early hours to get there.

Eventually I found myself one back behind some locals who were more concerned with eating their food than watching the show and visiting the toilets, meanwhile over on the right 'VIP' had no such problem and were enjoying the festival in their designated area with most puzzled as to where we were, apparently they could see the panic after the delay.

So anyway today different support slots some amazing courageous dancers from across the world who do break dancing with crutches with the motto 'No Excuse's, No Limits' each have a limb or limbs missing and they can still bust out the hardest moves on stage it gets the crowd involved, there is also a sign language person on either side of the stage in front of the crowd.

First main act is 'Ana Matronic' ex 'Scissor Sisters' she really gets the crowd into it, well most of us the rest still eating their chips and not in anyway dressed to greet 'Kylie'.

She mixes 'New York Disco' with funky dance cuts even throwing a 'Dannii' classic 'Put The Needle On It'.

Next act is former singer of 'The Audience' and successful pop star 'Sophie Ellis Bextor', its a windy day and stage is getting battered (possibly as we are facing the sea) .

She is struggling to keep her modesty in Yellow short flowing dress (fortunately she's wearing good pants underneath or it could have been an 'MDNA' moment when you know .. you know ).

She sing's her new song's with her female 2 violinist's and some hits from her back catalogue 'I'll Get Over You' , 'Murder On The Dancefloor' , 'Take Me Home' and 'Groovejet', she struggles in the wind and says "I'm really sorry for the view some of you are having on the front here but we've all seen swimsuits haven't we" she laughs and carries on but she delivers a superb performance.

It's so chilly later on even 'Kylie' comments on it being breezy up there in her summer outfit, the festival have decided to use environmentally friendly confetti for her show .

After the show people who were very drunk  were fighting over getting out of the venue as there was no exit ,we got sent back to the entrance, badly thought out ,had words with security again at the shocking organisation, because I've been to hundreds of gigs and festivals none been such a bad organisation than this.

Back to the seaside again for my final show on the whistle stop tour, Sunny 'Scarborough' today we are early entry with free pizza, 'Kylie' walked past us to go on the model train 'North Bay Railway' she waved at us inches away from where we were queuing, this was a fantastic day everyone was having fun the organisation perfect, we were very well treated by staff loved the venue.

The show was special too during 'Hand On Your Heart' 'Kylie' acknowledged my friend after she shouted 'I Love You Kylie' she shot back 'I Love You too',she was so taken aback you could say she was Shocked , some younger members of the audience were given the rose during the serenade 'Where The Wild Roses Grow' also a tradition carried on from 'Golden' tour.

The crowd were 100% 'Kylie' #Lovers singing and getting involved and boy were the crowd loud in 'Scarborough', 'Kylie' seemed overwhelmed by the welcome that it prompted her to say "We haven't played to Scarborough before but we'll definately have to come back"!!.

I don't know what's next for the 'Impossible Princess' but every show she does shes more Iconic and endearing to us 'Brit's, it's an emotional journey.

as she says "We've been together so long since 1988 (Actually it's 1987 but we forgive her).

Lmi xo

Next time...

more seaside fun further out at sea !!!
